Since I started to make my Christmas list I thought I would share a few items for you in case you were stumped on what to get someone on your list.
I have the original Naked palette from a million years ago which I still love and use often but sometimes Santa needs to upgrade you.
I’ve shared with y’all before how much I love the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick. It seriously stays all day even after eating or drinking. I would love some new everyday colors. This set is $39 and would make the perfect gift for the lipstick lovin’ girl in your life.
Y’all know how much I LOVE Lush (I talked about it here and here) and since I’m currently out of my favorite scrub it makes sense to add it to my list.
I’ve heard some really good things about Lush’s Roma Water and I REALLY want to try it because of the amazing benefits.
What are some beauty items that you would love to have?

Happy Beauty Haul Day!
I’m going to make this short and sweet since there are bigger things going on in the world besides what you should try from Sally’s Beauty Supply.
As you know, I love finding quality items at a discounted price. Sally’s is always a go to for me when it comes to hair care. A couple of weeks ago I picked up a few items; new shampoo & conditioner, leave-in conditioner (use as a detangler) and their version of Moroccan oil.
Out of all of that, the only item I’m not impressed with is the leave-in conditioner but that could be that I try to use it as a detangler. This morning I only used 2 sprays and it left my hair feeling filmy. Maybe it will be better in the summer to protect my hair in the heat but I’m not sure.
The other item I love is their version of Moroccan oil! A TINY bit goes a long way. It helps my hair dry a little faster, makes it shiny and protects from the heat.
In case you were wondering, their blonde shampoo and conditioner works really well. It doesn’t make my hair brassy by any means.
What are your favorite products from Sally’s Beauty Supply?

Earlier this year I took a few months off of Birchbox because I wasn’t all that impressed with what I was receiving. It was mostly one time use shampoo and conditioner or hair related that I wouldn’t use. I missed the makeup and skincare items. In August I realized how much I missed the days when a pretty Birchbox was waiting in my mailbox. I updated my profile in hopes that my beauty samples would fit more of what I wanted. I’m so happy I did that because I didn’t realize HOW much I missed it. I guess the saying is true, absence makes the heart grow fonder.
I received my October Birchbox about a week ago and I’m so excited about every product in it. They are all different and are all something I will use. . .or have used already.
I’m excited to try this product. I love any hair product that will help dry my hair faster while it protects my hair from the heat.
I tried this product last Friday morning before going to breakfast, I didn’t notice much of a difference but it was also 6:30am on my day off. I’ll give it a fair shot over the weekend when I travel.
I haven’t tried the masacara yet because I’m kind of picky when it comes to mascara. I’ve used high end mascara that bleeds above my eyes which is annoying and embarassing at the same time. I’ve also used drugstore makeup that works perfectly and don’t leave tiger stripes on my face. I’ll give it a try over the weekend to see how it works for me.
As much as it pains me to say this, but this dry shampoo is a GAME CHANGER!! I didn’t want to love it because it is ridiculously expensive. Last week I forgot to set my alarm so I had to use dry shampoo to make me look presentable and it was love from first spray. This dry shampoo sprays out in such a fine mist that it doesn’t leave any of that sticky residue that other dry shampoos do and it gave my hair some volume. I might have to save this one for emergency situations so I don’t blow through it too quickly.
I really didn’t think this product would work on a pretty deep wrinkle I have in between my eyebrows, #ThisIs32 but after one use I noticed a difference. The wrinkle wasn’t as deep or pronounced. After a week, I can notice a difference. I’m for sure going to buy the full size product to help me get bridal ready.
What is your favorite item from your Birchbox???

Happy Beauty Haul Day!!
Today I’m sharing my love for my favorite hair mask from Lush Cosmetics. I stopped by Lush a few weeks ago to pick up a few new skincare goodies and while I was there I asked them what can I do about my dry scalp. The girl asked me a few questions about my hair, I told her it is dry and I want to make it softer after years of heat damage. She suggested I try their hask mask called Roots.
I’ve used drug store hair masks before but I never noticed a difference at all. The Roots hair mask from Lush is a GAME CHANGER! It is more expensive than the drug store brands but it works so much better and I instantly noticed a difference.
Normally you put a hair mask or deep conditioning treatment on while you are in the shower, but with Roots you put it on when your hair is still dry. First you start by massaging it into your scalp, as you do so you will start to smell peppermint which is heavenly. After my scalp is covered, then I move down the rest of my hair. Once my hair is covered, I just put my hair in a bun and wait. The website says to shampoo your hair after 15-20 minutes, I waited almost 45 minutes.
The second all of the product left my hair in the shower I could tell how clean my hair felt. The true test was when I blow dried it and I can honestly say, my hair dried in no time and had so much more natural volume.
I try to use the mask every other week but I’ll use it tonight since I finally got my hair done over the weekend to give my hair extra love after coloring it.
What are some of your favorite hair treatments? If you haven’t tried this one, I highly recommend it.

It’s Beauty Haul Wednesday and I couldn’t be more excited to share my new favorite all natural face mask by Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics. Lush is all about making obtainable beauty without sacrificing the well being of others or our environment. They stand behind all natural products without parabens or animal testing at an affordable price. As I’ve mentioned before, my skin is fairly sensitive and every product I’ve ever used from Lush has not caused any flare ups; it actually makes my skin look and feel better.
A few weeks ago I stopped by my local Lush to check out a new face mask and hair mask. With my wedding coming up I want to look like my best self and with that comes masks of different kinds. The people that work at Lush are true experts in their field, they answered my questions, provided suggestions and listened to my skincare/hair concerns.
Mask of Magnaminty
I’ve talked about my love for face masks here and here but this one is hands down the best and most effective. The Mask of Magnaminty is more of a traditional mask that you wash off. Here are a few reasons why I love it:
It’s deep cleansing
It’s pulls everything out of your pores
It helps reduce pores (which is what EVERY bride to be wants)
It exfoliates and soothes the skin at the same time
It smells so good
When I use the face mask, I like to scrub my face first with Lush’s Ocean Salt which is a face and body scrub. Thank you for the tip Lush!
They said I can use this combo up to 3x a week but I’ve been using it once a week and have noticed a small difference. As I get closer to the wedding I’ll start using it more frequently.
Next Wednesday I’m going to share my thought about the hair mask with you. If you have a Lush location near you, I highly recommend it!
