Happy Friday!!
Last weekend Brandon and I drove up to Nacogdoches, TX to pick up some furniture from a family friend. The furniture needs some love, but I honestly can’t wait to bring each piece back to life. Our furniture haul included, a buffet, a gorgeous vanity, a trunk and a humidor from the 1940s/1950s which is lined with copper.
First up on the list is the buffet, which will live in our front room/entryway. Our house was built in the 60’s so we believe this room used to be the living room. (More pictures will come in a later post). Last night, we went to Lowe’s to pick up some supplies to start refurbishing.
My plan is to paint the buffet a glossy, bright white and spray paint the original hardware black. I LOVE how black and white is always a timeless look.
The drawers should be easy to repair, I’ll probably line the drawers with a fun print, because why not!?!?
I’m obsessed with this detail. It’s so pretty and adds so much to the buffet. I’m thinking I’ll keep it white, but wouldn’t a soft gold be pretty? What do you think?
I hope y’all have a wonderful Halloween weekend!!
Thanks for stopping by!
Xo, Heather
