Happy Tuesday ya’ll!!
These past few weeks have been a little hectic between work and life, which is why the amount of blog posts have been lacking. This week, life should be back to my normal schedule or at least a better balance. With that being said, let’s talk about Oporto Fooding House & Wine.
Last week Brandon and I wanted to have a little happy hour date before we went to see Entourage. We’ve heard good things about Oporto Fooding House and Wine and wanted to try their happy hour tapas menu. Upon walking in, I fell in love with their simplistic yet, eclectic decor. Each booth has different mid-century modern couches, there are wicker chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and our water glasses were once wine bottles that they converted.
Brandon and I love to order different items and then share them so no one feels left out. #sharingiscaring. We ordered tomato ricotta pizza, piri piri chicken wings, and happy hour prego sandwich. We were impressed with everything we ate, but I think the pizza was our favorite. Of course, I enjoyed a glass of their house red wine with my dinner.
We forgot to take a picture of the happy hour prego sandwich, looking back maybe that was our favorite since it was gone in the blink of an eye.
If you are near Midtown Houston, I recommend checking out Oporto, for happy hour with your girlfriends, or a romantic date night on the patio, as long as its not 105 degrees outside.
Thanks for stopping by!
