Weekend & Monday Recap

Good Morning!

Saturday I woke up late, then I went to an hour and a half yoga class. It was ok, but it has been confirmed that I LOVE hot yoga more than any other type of yoga right now. When I left class, it was POURING! Due to the weather, I stayed home after and enjoyed the peace and quiet, while day dreaming about my dinner at Chuy’s. Dinner was so good, we both left stuffed but oh so happy.

Sunday I ventured out to the Houston Galleria to exchange out my Nars lipstick, (I ended up with this one). I love the red/orange color for the summer. My friend, Ashley who moved to Houston a few months ago reminded me that it was Lancome Gift with Purchase and she knows how much I LOVE gifts, so I HAD to buy the Lancome Oscillation PowerboosterIt is primer that lengthens my lashes before I put my mascara on, it is seriously the best and worth the price.

Choose your free Lancôme gift with your $39.50 Lancôme purchase. Valued up to $125. Get a bonus gift when you spend $70 on Lancôme.

Go to your closest Nordstom or order online, so you can get fun little goodies and LONG lashes, you will thank me later.

The weather was PERFECT in Houston yesterday, it was the typical Spring day which begged you to be outside. When I got home from work my boyfriend was already in his sneakers and asked if I wanted to go for a walk, of course I said yes. I put my shoes on and we ventured out for what I thought would be a short walk, but we were out for over 2 hours. We walked through our neighborhood, looked at houses, talked and talked and talked some more, then we made it to the Buffalo Bayou Park and realized we were right by the dog park on National Puppy Day. We do not have a dog, but we went to the dog park anyway and watched the dogs play for a while. Last night was one of the best nights and neither of us wanted it to end. It was great to get out of the apartment and see what else is out there. We are both guilty of coming home, and plopping on the couch and not getting up for a while, but if the weather stays like this for a while, I don’t see many TV nights in our future.

Sorry for the lengthy post, but there was a lot to recap. What are some of your favorite weekend activities?

Happy Tuesday!

Xo, Heather
